JIC  UPDATE!!

Thank you all who have been sending emails and leaving comments to see how I am doing.  Every time I plan on making the jump back into the blogosphere I have real life stopping me to say.. um.. no. not yet.  Everyone in my house (except my husband- lucky arse) has been sick the last two weeks.  Also, I have been spending some AMAZING quality time (insert eye roll here) at the pediatrician's office, I am guessing it is warming me back up for another germ filled fall season. 

Just to give you an idea of where my head is at, I just realized TODAY, August 20th, that I could not find my day planner.  I ripped my house apart this morning trying to find out what appointments I have missed.  Well, turns out that I left my day planner in SAN FRANCISCO!  Hello, BlogHer was a MONTH ago.  I just noticed today.  Luckily they have the planner and are mailing it back to me.  But, seriously, someone needs to come kick the crap out of me and tell me to get my shit together.  I am falling apart at the seams over here.

I miss you all!!  And I am reading you all in my reader.. I just suck because I have not had time to comment.  And I am lurking around on Plurk all you plurkers.  I even plan on heading back to the Buzz for a quick minute.  That is my plan anyway.  See you all around the internets!! That is if my ass ever lets my head back out.

Did you know I belong to a lot of anonymous clubs?

Like the Addicted to Jeans Anonymous club.
Or the I don’t answer my cell phone 98% of the time anonymous club.
Hell I created the I don’t have time to bathe my children everyday anonymous club.

There are a ton of these clubs I belong too because being anonymous has its advantages. But I have been a shitty bloggy friend and that is not a club I want to belong too.

The shitty blogging anonymous club recruiter has been following me around for weeks now though. They make me not read blogs or comment daily like I used to be able too. They even have held me hostage when I try to comment back on posts made on my old blog. I was/am a fan of responding to everyone that has visited me by sending them a personal email back. But truth be told, 24 hours in a day has been feeling a little cramped lately. I promise I am reading and I am thankful for everyone that leaves comments on my blog!! Thank you.. thank you. Thank you!!

Okay, so what is my point? Well I have received some AWESOME bloggy awards that I have not acknowledge (because I suck at time management) and want to take some time out today to thank those that thought of my little blog. If she lived closer I would be at her house all the time. AND her kids and my kids are around the same age. BONUS. But it is more than that, she is a woman of courage, and strength and love and I was honored that she gave me the Bloggy Best Friend award. Thank you so much Kristen!!

In keeping the BFF theme, I want to pass this award along to Angie over at Keep Believing. Words really cannot describe how much I adore this blog and Angie. Angie is funny, witty, and has a heart larger than the state of Texas. Her strength and devotion to her family is truly beautiful. Whew. Here we go:

1. Write without fear of being judged. Not everyone is going to find what you write their cup of tea. Post without trying to please everyone.

2. Don’t force a post; they normally come all by themselves. There are days I have nothing to post about and then something silly or annoying will happen and TA DA a new post magically appears.

3. Be yourself. In the beginning (a whole three months ago) I was under the assumption that only a wordsmith could have a successful blog. And while my blog is far from successful I write how I speak. I don’t try to pretend I am someone I am not and use big words. I am jealous of those who can use them, but that has never been my gig.

And now the easy part.. Passing the award on to three bloggers!!
