Not Wordless Wednesday At All - Dork Evolution

I made a bloggy promise to my newest bloggy friend HockeyMan (who is the husband to my awesomely BFF bloggy friend AWholeLotOfNothing) that I would post all my dorky pictures of me for this weeks Wordless Wednesday. So here they are.. for all of blogland to see. I promise you won't turn to stone or anything. (I hope)
I present The AWWWWHHH stage:
What the heck happened then?? Well, Braces, Perms, Nose Growing to Fast for the Face..Will all produce this hot mess:
And there are many many more that I could share with you all, but listen, I think you can all understand why I was considered a Dork and I have embarrassed myself enough don't ya think? :)
And here is me Present Dork Day. Except now I have kids. And being a Dorky Mom is fine with me.

First? Wow, you're gorgeous... look how skinny you are in that last picture. I am jealous!
I respect the rainbow paper and the glasses. You look pretty saucy in the last pic! Love it!
You're beautiful!
Though I will say that the high hair, scrunchies, and photo in front of the rainbow wallpaper, brought back some serious memories... Back in the day, I resembled you in so many of those pictures...
Love the pics - You have come a long way! Haven't we all - Its interesting that you looked much older in your Orange Julius picture than in your current pic! Funny how hard the 80's were on us all!
But now - beautiful!
i think you're beautiful.
a prime example of why I can't wait to be done with the 20s - you have an aura of peace and stuff.
Wow Kim, what a beautiful picture of you! Seriously, no dork found in the last picture! :)
Can I just tell you how much I used to puffy heart rainbows too> My room was covered!
Great pics and what a fabulous trip down memory lane. Love that you posted all of these. And don't worry, I had the same fabulous hair way back when. :)
The side ponytail hair one made me laugh outloud. Being dorky is wonderful, but you don't look anything like a dork :)
Funny how times change, huh? I should dig up some of my pics from when I was younger. You all would have a good laugh. I think every outfit that I wore in high school consisted of a t-shirt under a flannel. Hot stuff! :D
Those pics are mint! The last one is gorgeous, but the first one's are so mint. ;)
I love it! I SOOO wanted a pair of those 2-toned jeans. Thank goodness we couldn't afford them. :O)
I've posted some real gems of myself in my Flashback Friday posts. Check 'em out if you're so inclined...
Dork? You? You're kidding, right? You're beautiful!
I respect the fact that you were crew leader (at 15!) at Orange Julius!! Now that's an example of a great work ethic (which I keep trying to teach my kids...).
Loved the pics.
Happy WW!
Good GOD I don't deserve to be your bloggy BFF with you lookin that HOT.
But I guess it balances out with the Early Years pics. You were one dorky dork. You kind of had a Mayim Bialik (Blossom) look going on. That's classy.
HA - it's always fun to look back on old photos of ourselves...it's also begs the question...what was I thinking?!
~K
I had the same two tone jeans! I had the same big hair! I had the same scrunchie and fake nails. What I did NOT have was that gay ass rainbow wallpaper. :-)
Didn't everyone start out dorky? No? Bastards.
AHHHH!! The two-tones!! Bwahahahahah. I had totally forgotten. LOVE this stroll down memory lane. I have been loving all the 80's flashbacks lately. I did one on Monday. It was fun.
KEEP BELIEVING
RESPECT YO! I think my dorkage by age corresponds to yours to a T. Only I have an excuse not to post them, as they are somewhere at my mom's house in Boston.
I have hot bloggy friends, yo!
I totally respect that. :)
Loved the stroll down memory lane... great pix. Your turned out okay. :D
It's all full circle. You were a gorgeous baby and little girl, suffered some awkward years and now look at you. Hot damn girl!
You're a hot dork.
Oh, this would be a FUN post to do if all my photos weren't at my mom's house in another state. Isn't it great to find yourself looking BETTER in your 30's than you did in your 20's?
That's right, you hot dork you. I am loving those 2-toned pants, I totally forgot all about those. Think they'll come back in style again in our lifetimes?
I am respecting your hawtness!
You're gorgeous! And don't look anywhere near 35.
You look so much like a friend of mine in that last picture it's not even funny. Beautiful Ms. Kimmylyn!
Isn't amazing how we hate getting older, but we improve with age? Like a fine wine.
Okay, that was way too cheesy for me, but true ;)
Abt died with your two-toned jeans! You are now a lovely swan!!! :)
You are one beautiful and classy lady Ms.Kim. It really is so nice to have met you.
dude....the pic with the yellow shirt is SOO totally babysitter's club! God I loved those books..sigh
Good heavens woman! You're gorgeous!
Ah yes...the feathered hair and scrunchies :) You are a brave, brave lady. I refuse to seek out any of pics from my parents from the age of 5-20. Nothing pretty happened to me during then.
Those pictures are hilarious! I may have to try this sometime myself. I had that same big hair, scrunchie, big glasses look too. Of course, we all had that look back in the 80's! We were just way COOL, not dorks, right?
Actually, I was a complete dork when I was younger. I was shy, awkward, definitely not cool in any shape or form. Thank God we grow up and out of that phase!
