June 6, 2008 First, I should preface this is not a paid post and I get nothing for sharing this information with you. I am just a HUGE fan of New Balance sneakers (my favorite pair I own are the 768’s running shoes – it is like running on air) so when I heard they were doing a toddler line I was so excited that I wanted to share with you guys.
New Balance will be releasing and Infant, Pre School, and Grade School size line sometime in July. The collection will include three of the classic Sesame Street characters – Elmo, Cookie Monster and Oscar the Grouch. They modeled the line after the New Balance heritage running shoe – the 574.
Take a look at how adorable the sneakers will be:

I just want to eat the Cookie Monster pair, NOM NOM NOM.
Now if New Balance sees my post and wants my kids to test a pair out for free; I am not opposed to free stuff. :)

Oh my fudgesicle - way cute.
OMG! Those are the cutest kicks, ever!
I think I might need those oscar the grouch ones for Anya. Sometimes grouchy totally fits her! :)
They are super cute and I hope they send you some!
Do you think maybe they'll make them in my size? On a crabby day it would be great to be kicking around in some Grouch shoes! :)
Those are adorable! I am a big New Balance fan too, I love my latest pair.
ooh ooh ooh ooh I loooove NB's. I still run in Nike though BUT I live in my NB classic gray pairs. Damn, now if only LC grows up fast enough to wear these beauties! I also can't wait for us to wear our matching Converses :)
Kim, do you think they will make them in "Grandma's styles", you know, like sneakers with the Geritol Logo on them, or maybe you can get them to put little rockets on the back of them so they can give us grandma's a little push after running around with the grandchildren...
One of the best characteristics of New Balance sneakers is that they come in different widths; this works well for my narrow feet and my son's extra wides. I like their stores too -- the employess are well trained in shoe fitting, not just selling.
hello, KL. Did you know I work for NB? I usually don't get free shoes, but can get a nice discount for friends. Keep that in mind.
