Zombie Sexiness
I have been MIA from the blog and life the past two and a half days because my hubby and me are suffering from what we believe is food poisoning we got at a birthday party this weekend. Chilli folks. Imagine the fun.
And on top of it all, my almost 11th month old has reverted back to a two week old. He has been waking every two and a half hours to eat. Joy. Growth spurt? Teething? Whatever it is I am a walking puking zombie. How sexy is that?
Though how do I get mad at this little face?

I will be back soon. Hopefully.

Awww. SUPPOSEDLY at around that age, the little ones are supposed to start waking up loads at night bc they want to walk and then can't get it out of their head (normal ppl buy the physical development books, and I buy the psychology ones ...ha). SUPPOSEDLY. Lorelei is 12 months and still hasn't done the waking up tons thing. I'm kind of hoping the author is a quack...because, if he's not...that means my time is a coming.
It's always fun trying to guess what's going on with our little ones, huh? Like a jillion things it could be...
I hope you feel better, sweetie!
Ugh... so sorry to hear that. So who do you run to faster: sick husband or crying child? Hang in there.
oh no!
That does NOT sound like fun at ALL.
Hope that you are feeling better soon, and that your little one decides to start sleeping 14 hours a night and at least 4 during the day to let you catch up.
Hang in there. *Hugs*
ugh. tell me about it. my babe's doing the same danged thing. GOOD TIMES. pbbhhhht.
ah, i remember those days. cutting back on the feeding will help slightly, but it's apparently all the developmental milestones' fault.
feel better soon!
Oh, I hope you feel better soon! And I hope he goes back to sleeping. For us, those sudden interruptions in sleep patterns always signaled a milestone of some sort -- and they were always short-lived. I hope you get your routine (and tummy) back soon. I really feel for you with the double-whammy going on. Thinking healthy thoughts for you...
Poor Mama. Feel better! Give the kid some liquor to make him sleep. It's allowed - you're sick.
Alcohol kills germs. Whenever I feel food poisoning coming on, I down a few shots of whiskey. Sometimes the whiskey wins, sometimes the germs win. Either way, it's a lot more fun. Feel better soon!!
what a cute baby.. lucky to have such cute one.
Icky, Kim, food poisoning is awful, hope you and hubby get better soon! BD's remedy sounds good ... and if it doesn't kill the bugs, at least you'll be too drunk to notice LOL!
And your baby, isn't it fun when they change things up, just to keep you on your toes? He's a cutie-patootie, though, that one ;)
Yikes! I am feeling for ya. I hate stomach illnesses the most!
As for that baby, his cute smile makes up for it all, right?
Aw, that's sucks. Send me my boyfriends and I will take care of them until you and hubby are better. Perfect solution, right?
Hang in there, honey.
OMG...he's so effing cute! (Just emailed ya about the playdate, btw!)
KIM-
FEEL BETTER SOON! Hate the zombie pukes...hope it is FP and not contagious because family group puke sessions are even worse!
xoxoxoxo...
Oh geez! That sounds awful! I'm so sorry to hear. Of all things to add on to food poisoning, a sleepless baby is no fun. I seem to remember teeth coming in around 1 year with my daughter too. She didn't sleep through the night until she was .....ok, she still doesn't sleep through the night at 2 :(
Poor girl! Hope you guys get better soon and that little cutie starts sleeping for you! My Kathryn thinks she's a newborn too, and she's 3, wear me out!
Yikes! So sorry to hear about that. My husband and I had that too, with pizza. We took turns in the bathroom all night when it hit and spent the day on the floor throwing toys toward our kids hoping that would keep themselves entertained until we were able to move again. Hope you're better soon.
I think Aaron's getting ready to walk. I've noticed they tend to have irregular sleep patterns when they're getting ready for some milestone. Let's hope that's what it is.
So sorry to hear you got yucky food poisoning! That's terrible! Hope you're feelng better soon, Kimmy!
Oh, he's so cute! That's a really great picture.
I hope you feel better soon!
Glad to see you back! I hope you're feeling well soon.
Yo! Sexy Zombie Mama! LOL. Food poisoning is the sux. Get better soon, k?
Oh gosh. I feel your pain. Get better soon!!
Adorable pic. I took a little hiatus myself, did some name changes, and now I'm back. We can't chain ourselves to our blogs, life is meant to be lived.
Peace!
