Ad-libbing Uncencored

My three year old Donnie has the Alvin & The Chipmunks cd.  He loves it.  I am tortured listening to it daily, twice a day while driving in the car.  It is extremely sweet though to hear my little man singing at the top of his lungs.  Tonight while we were playing Superman vs. Spiderman I started singing Funky Town which is on the cd.

Won't you take me too.. funky town.  Won't you take me too ..funky town.

Donnie stops, looks at me and starts shaking his hiney.  "How come your not singing?" I ask him.  He breaks out in song two minutes later:

"Won't you take me too.. fucky town.  Won't you take me too.. fucky town."

I am trying to control my laughter because he is genuinely thinking he is saying funky, but it is coming out like fucky.  I tell him, "honey, it is funky town".

"That's what I am shaking my hiney too mom, fucky town".

Note to self, will not use this song for talent show day at the daycare.

He might win first prize for that one in the preschool talent show. It is reminding me of the Talent portion of the movie, "Little Miss Sunshine." Ever seen it - I find it hilarious.

KEEP BELIEVING

HILARIOUS! Me and Donnie would get along just great. I bust out my Chipmunks Christmas CD after our last bite of turkey on T-giving! And I secretly want to buy the new Chipmunks movie on DVD. Sad, I know.

So funny! Those funny comments are one reason why I had to start a blog. I just had to write the stuff down before I forgot it! Kids are funny!
Oh and you should try the new Crayola surge markers. They are really cool!

Oh my, that is just the cutest thing!

At least he didn't know he was saying it! Does that count? Too cute!

Bwahahaha! Excellent. Today my son was singing "Do you want me to stay or should I go?" It's a little wordier than the original, but catchy nonetheless...

Too funny -- Angie beat me with the Little Miss Sunshine reference.

Been there...Once while driving to Home Cheapo, my daughter spotted one of the semi's pulling out of the parking lot and blurted out, "Daddy, that's a big fuck!" I didn't know her "tr" came out like an F, so we had to work on that one...right away! I had to avoid any more TRucks on the way home so that one wouldn't get repeated to Grandma and Grandpa!

My daughter loved the Disney movie, Mulan (part TWO, not one. Part one is scary, she says). She would be telling us stories about the movie and we kept hearing "vagina" in the midst of her story tellings. What?? We watched the movie and, nope, nothing about any female organs. What the heck could she be talking about, we wondered, and what does it have to do with Mulan? We finally realized she was saying "from China", not "vagina"!

LOL! My brother pronounced his "Tr"'s as a "F". My dad was a truck driver...or as my brother put it a fucker.
Good times

The Name Game song is notorious for accidental profanity.

Nice! That would make listening to that CD worth the torture!

He could have a career as a rap artist... that is hilarious. Keep that story for the date notebook... the one you bring out to show the girls he brings home to meet the parents.

Sounds like a good place to go on vacation! :D I'll have to run that one by Momma as our vacation spot for this year.

Hilarious!! Those Alvin and the Chipmunks have done a number on us too. The little one just doesn't understand why she can't walk around saying BOW CHICKA BOW WOW all day long.

Hehehe. Funny kid. He should hang out with my daughter. Ya know what she calls donut holes? Shitballs. Yep. I'm not even joking. Her father once said it jokingly to her and it stuck. Nice, eh?
