Project365/9

It was pouring buckets when I woke this morning to go to work.  I had to leave the house while everyone else was still snuggly asleep under the covers. (Hubby and kids had the holiday off).  It would have been the perfect day to curl up inside my covers and watch Lifetime movies all day long.  When I returned home, the hubby never made the bed, my blankets were in the exact position I left them in.. sigh.. I think my bed missed me too.

My husband's philosophy... why the need to make the bed when we will crawl back in there come night time or even earlier??

I KNOW my bed loves me. Every morning, it whispers sweet nothings into my ear.. "don't go baby, it's cold out there, I'll keep you warm." "Just snuggle a bit longer." "Don't make me stay here all day by myself." I usually give into the poor thing.

KEEP BELIEVING

Your bed looks mega comfy. I'm proud you made it into work! And how nice of it to be all ready and inviting for you when you arrived home. :)

My men folk both had the day off too... my only consolation was the the little man had a big school project to turn in tomorrow, and the big guy had to help him with it. I was safe and sound in my office. Homework sucks!

did you smack your hubby for not making the bed? doesn't he know that when he is home with the kids, he is supposed to do what stay at home moms do? cook, clean, take care of the kids...and...that includes making beds...

my hubby will never make the bed unless i initiate it. i like to make it or else my dogs will "nest" in it all day long. we figured if cameron had to sleep in her own bed, so should the dogs. after 5 years of sleeping with us, they're now in their own beds at night (with the occasional breach in the middle of the night!)
