I am was tagged for another MEME this morning by the oh so classy and talented OhMommy!  So pull up a chair and get to know me and my Blogging Meme.

How long have you been blogging?
Not long. My first post was back in November 2007. I am still amazed with how many talented bloggers are on the WWW.

What inspired you to start a blog and who are your mentors?
My very good friend Brandy at MyFerilityStories lit the fire in my brain to start a blog. Working in the online advertising space for as long as I have, I never had any interest in going home and firing up the computer for personal use. Well, fast forward and now all I want to do is blog, cruise blogs, stalk blogs, and be on Cre8Buzz.. I am an addict.

Are you trying to make money online, or just doing it for fun?
I am doing it for fun. Now. I started thinking I could make money from my blog because of the knowledge of being in online advertising I felt why not try? Yeah, well if you were with me from the very beginning, way back in Nov. 07 when I had an ad every three inches to now having none. Unless of course I am promoting other bloggers store/site. Personally, my site felt cluttered and I only made $20.00 since November so I shut it down. I found that ads on my personal blog did not convert, but I am going to take another stab at it with a different type of blog with more of a dedicated focus to it. As OhMommy mentioned Dooce and the retard Perez Hilton make their living off of their blog.

What 3 things do you love about being online?
1. The Escape. The escape to jump into another world that is not so routine. My life if FULL of routine, blogging takes a little of that away.
2. The New Friends- In all seriousness I never, let me repeat NEVER, would have imagined this community to be so friendly and supportive.
3. The Outlet- I am a talker by nature. I talk too much. My husband is the COMPLETE opposite. I know the signs when he has reached the “Kim Overload”. Same thing with my friends, everyone’s life is so busy now that we all have kids that it is not as easy to pick up the phone so with my blog it is a great way to keep friends/family/bloggy friends up to date without harassing them. J

What 3 things do you struggle with online?
1. I am a horrible writer. I screw up punctuation all the time. I am a comma addict. My style of writing is choppy and messy. And forget about word selection. UGH.
2. Finding time to blog is a constant struggle. I need to sleep to function but I push myself at night to visit all my favorite blogs or come up with a post.
3. Posting pictures of my family online. I struggle with this all the time because there are sick people out there. But I put a positive foot forward and pray that I do not regret my decision to really share my world with the WWW.
