Potty Mouth

Donnie this morning was in his usual I hate to get up in the morning mood.  You cannot speak to my son until after he has stretched and yawned for about ten minutes.  And in line with most mornings he gives me grief if I do not chose the two articles of clothing he has a borderline obsession with.  (Yes I know I ended with a preposition, please don't kill me).  So I decided to be "crazy" and put on his least favorite shirt.  We literally argue for about ten minutes about it while I get Aaron dressed.  He is only complaining today about the shirt, he is not physically removing the shirt like he does normally so I think silently ... I HAVE WON.. woo hoo.

Yeah, I had NO idea what was going to happen next.  I am now downstairs strapping Aaron into his car seat when I hear my sweet sons voice scream out loud.. "MOM COME CHANGE THIS F#$KING SHIRT".  I nearly fell over.  First I was like, no way did he just say that.  Well he followed right up with, COME CHANGE THIS F#$KING SHIRT MOM.  Okay, I am not delusional, my son is purposely screaming profanity at me, and using it in the correct manner I may add.

Now of course the three year old in me is laughing to myself, but I have to gain parental control here so that he does not throw the f-bomb around school.  I can only imagine him saying hey Teach, get me my F-in lunch or at the mall tonight he may sit on Santa's lap and politely say where are my F-in toys?  So I give him a time out and we have the long talk about how the f-bomb is not allowed, ever.

Is there a 12 step program for Potty Mouth?
